Hoy en Guatemala tendremos la oportunidad de ver un muy bonito evento cósmico un eclipse de luna. El eclipse será total, y no se miraba uno así por estos lares desde el 2003. El siguiente será en el 2010, así que si no quieren esperar dos años para ver otro, pónganse pilas hoy.
El eclipse estará en su mejor punto a las 9.30 hora de Guate. Comienza a las 7.40 y termina a las 11.09 así que ni siquiera hay que levantarse a horas raras para verlo.
Sin duda en todas las culturas los eclipses tenían significados especiales. Ahora ya que conocemos el origen del fenómeno nos impresiona menos. Siempre me he asombrado de el cómo los Mayas podían, sin instrumentos ópticos, poder predecirlos.
